Dance, dance, dance 'til you're dead
Trading in her drunken yelps, brassy squeals for Debbie Harry coos, Karen O is a natural disco queen. With shimmery synths, perfectly mechanical drumming, and guitars that are equal parts slick and grungy, "Heads Will Roll" is exactly the kind of dance song you imagine the Yeah Yeah Yeahs crafting. O's command of dance, dance, dance 'til you're dead is just that: a command. O's fierce stage presence is fully articulated in the stomping posturing of the track. "Heads Will Roll" doesn't pretend that the dance floor is always pretty - sometimes it's messy, its raucous, chaotic but always fun.
