Songs about relationships fall under three categories: 1) I love you so much I want to shout it on the rooftops so everyone knows! 2) breaking up sucks, I'm really sad and 3) breaking up sucks and so do you. Pink's infectious single "So What" falls under the latter category. Reeling off her divorce from motocross somebody, Carey Hart, "So What" finds Pink defiant and well, pissed. She opens with, "I guess I just lost my husband, I don't know where he went/ So I'm gonna drink my money, I'm not gonna pay his rent." Divorce sucks, but Pink sure knows how to make it a catchy, anthemic song. Full of vigor, Pink has attitude in spades and "So What" follows "Don't Let Me Get Me" as perfectly catchy and defiant song. It's quintessential Pink and thank God for that.
