How many singles can one album supply? With her Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna has spun off seven singles with most of them becoming monster hits and clear dance club mainstays. With the infectious "Don't Stop the Music" and "Distrubia," Rihanna came out with two songs that stayed in your head for days and she became the female artist to beat; even Janet Jackson is aping her style.
"Disturbia" is unlike Rihanna's other singles. It isn't the unabashed disco of "Don't Stop the Music" or the sleek and ubiquitous "Umberella," think of "Disturbia" as her "Thriller." Co-written by her beloved, Chris Brown, "Disturbia" is charged by an aggressive beat and a killer harmony. It's Rihanna at her most sexually charged and it suits her well.
