Michael Jackson passed away today, too soon at the age of 50. It's shocking, sad and scary to write those words. He was an immensely talented artist, breaking ground and basically defining what a pop star is.
Jackson was many things to many people: idol, freak, musician, and to only a precious few, a son, friend and father. His life was scarred by a too short childhood, selfish handlers and scandal, yet despite all that he made art, he made music that resonates and that is how we shall remember him, with his music.
