14. Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West & Common "Make Her Say"

I make her say

Cleverly using a sample of Lady Gaga's acoustic version of "Poker Face," Kid Cudi and his cohorts spin an infectious yarn that's less about sex than it is about their own masculinity. Trading mischievous rhymes about all too willing girls, Cudi, Kanye West and Common play a game of one upmanship: from West's I got seniority with the sorority to Cudi's interjections with Gaga's oh's. Amidst the crudeness, there's something so juvenile about their tales as if they were exaggerating, puffing up their chests, proving their sexual prowess, their masculinity. No homo, of course. Instead of using some faceless, nameless breathy studio singer, Cudi chooses someone like Lady Gaga, someone so unapologetically carnal that she not only holds her own among the trio of men, but once she sings the full chorus, she blows them out of the water.
